“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Every day we’ll be faced with decisions. Mostly it will be mundane daily choices, but from time to time we will have to make life-altering decisions, that can’t only change our own lives but that of others as well.

But this is something that we must all do. Living comes with making choices and making decisions. We are gifted by God with freewill and with the ability to make sound decisions, so we must accept that gift and exercise our decision-making whenever necessary.

In every situation, in every challenge, we are given choices. It is up to us on what our reaction will be. We can choose to move. We can always choose our own path.

Some things may be beyond our control and it may seem that we’re powerless at times. But we are not. As long as we have God in our hearts, we are never truly powerless. He will show us the light, and enlighten our hearts and mind if only we seek His wisdom and guidance.

There are many choices within our power. Adventures waiting to be discovered. New lives God wants us to touch. But we need to make decisions for them to happen. So decide. Choose!
